Silver colored amalgam fillings are not particularly pleasing to the eye, but are still indicated under certain circumstances. Porcelain inlays and composite resins create fillings that are not only beautiful (or invisible) but also add strength to weakened teeth, and are most ofter the preferable treatment. These restorations are esthetically pleasing and very strong thanks to new bonding technologies. |
